The Code Blue Assassins take on Kentucky’s Black-N-Bluegrass & The Flatliners go up against the Knoxville Hard Knox Rollergirls
On July 11th, 2009, the Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls (BHRG) continue their sizzling season with their 2nd home bout at the Bloomington Sportsplex. This bout, another double header, features both BHRG’s travel teams — Code Blue Assassins and the Flatliners. Hungry for more after the victorious home bout for both BHRG teams in May, the rollergirls are stepping onto the track against two tough out-of-state teams. The Code Blue Assassins will take on Kentucky’s Black-N-Bluegrass Rollergirls in the first bout of the evening. The Flatliners are up against Knoxville, Tennessee’s Hard Knox Rollergirls. This bout’s half-time show will feature the Different Drummer Belly Dancers.
The season opener will take place at the Bloomington SportsPlex, 1700 W. Bloomfield Rd. [see map, on Saturday, July 11th. Doors open at 5 PM. First bout starts at 6 PM.
Tickets can be purchased online through Brown Paper Tickets, at local businesses including Landlocked Records, Plan 9, Be Hair Now, and the SportsPlex or from your favorite rollergirl. Advance tickets are $10, and tickets at the door are $15. Children’s tickets will be available for $5 and children ages 5 and under get in free! Season and VIP tickets are also available.
For the 2009 season, a portion of the proceeds from each bout will be donated to Deep Roots Animal Sanctuary.

Actually, I believe this is the Flatliners’ third WFTDA-sanctioned bout, not their second.
Was Derby City sanctioned or regulation?
