Babe Ruthless (Ellen Page) and Smashley Simpson (Drew Barrymore) have nothing on our own Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls. But we’d like to support them anyways in their new movie Whip It. So we are inviting you, our fans, to join us Friday night, October 9th at Kerasotes West (2929 W. 3rd St. Bloomington) to see the 7:20 pm showing of Whip It.
You will recognize us by our BHRG uniforms as we prepare for our Monster Mash-Up bout on October 10th by watching some of Hollywood’s best test their skills on the derby track. We are certain that the whips, pushes and general derby mayhem in Whip It will inspire us to resurrect that same ruthless rage 7:00 pm on Saturday at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center when we go head to head with some of the scariest monsters and zombies this side of the Wabash River.
