On Saturday July 10th, the Bloomington, IN Bleeding Heartland Flatliners will stealthily creep across three state lines to unleash their roller-ninja skillz on the Omaha Rollergirls All-Stars in their next bout, “Crouching Pivot Hidden Jammerâ€.
This will be the first time Bleeding Heartland has ever faced off against the November 2008 WFTDA-sanctioned Omaha Rollergirls. Let the rivalry begin!
In addition, neither the BHRG Code Blue Assassins, nor the Flatliners have ever traveled so far for an away bout. This marks a great opportunity for the league to branch out and the players to broaden their game play experience. It’s also a great chance for you, the fans, to become involved! It’s not uncommon for the roller girls to foot a lot (if not all) of the bill for their Away bouts. Seeing as this is a doozy of a trip, if you would like to help support the team with a donation as they make the 20-hour round-trip journey to and from Omaha, you may contact media@bleedingheartlandrollergirls.com.
Doors open at 6:45pm at SkateDaze in Omaha (3616 S 132nd St) and game begins promptly at 7:30pm.
