BHRG’s Third Annual B-Cup Tournament!

Teams compete in last year’s B-Cup Tournament

Eight roller derby leagues will do battle in a two-day tournament to start the 2013 home season. Hosted by your own Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls, the B-Cup Tournament’s teams hail from a number of states — Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Maryland, Michigan, and Tennessee.

While the main competitors will be the leagues’ B-teams, BHRG’s A-team Flatliners will take on Iowa City’s Old Capitol City Roller Girls at 6 p.m. before the championship bout at 7:40 p.m. Saturday.

Now in its third year, the tournament will take place in BHRG’s newly renovated Cardiac Arena. Due to limited space in Cardiac Arena, only season ticket holders will be able to attend B-Cup. However, we need many volunteers to make this day run smoothly. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Supa Dupa, at dmneese@gmail.com. The last two tournaments were a blast, and we hope our fans can join us to kick-off another kick-ass season! Thanks to all teams joining us.
