With Hat in hand, On bended knee,
To volunteer I ask of thee,

But where Haggis? You ask,
Stats, Merch, Door, Pick your task.

Toe the line, shoulder the burden.
Aid Haggis with the cats he’s herdin’.

Second season be almost done.
Every challenge Flatly won.

Bonds worn thin by many hours together,
Become lonely ties in winter weather.

So join me once more in the breach,
Thank goodness Haggis has but this last time left to preach.

I know now you’ll do your duty,
But I really need to hear from you sooner rather than later.

And we can let my poetry skills continue to rot.

The Bleeding Heartland Roller Girls All-Star team, the Flatliners, will open their season Saturday, August 23rd at the Bloomington Sportplex. The Flatliners will be squaring off against the COMO Derby Dames, of Columbia, MO. Buy your tickets online or from one of the following locations:
